Feds Files Charges Against Standard & Poor's Over Mortgage-Backed Bonds
LOS ANGELES-The U.S Justice Department filed civil charges against Standard & Poor’s on Monday alleging the credit rating firm gave inaccurate appraisals on mortgage-backed securities that fueled the national recession.
